  Nope. Not even at my most faithful. I may have been able to refuse blood, but that's about it. I always felt a sense of shame whenever I would hear stories of those who did die for the faith, because I knew that I would never be able to do that. If the time came I knew I would simply convince myself that god would forgive me. It worked for Peter, after all.

  My wife and I bought a bar !!

  JW says yes to plasma and platelets, husband then says NO!

  27 yr old female patient with ruptured ectopic pregnancy, sees the light and says yes to plasma and platelets.... she is then sedated.

  her husband then declares she cant have the plasma and platelets and doctors are forced to go to court.

  the risk of her death or permenant damage increasing by the hour.. the doctors decreed she had full capacity and right to autonomy when she relinquished her previos stand on blood.

  I don't understand why the doctors had to go to court to begin with. She's an adult who made a decision about her health while still cognizant. Being her husband doesn't mean he should be able to override that decision.

  i may disagree with friends over politics and/or religion, but the only reason i would cut off a friend is if they betrayed me.

  anyone else lost friends or cut off friends because of politics or religion?.

  No actual friends. I have a facebook friend that I've strongly considered unfriending, not because she posts anti-Obama propaganda, but because of the sheer relentlessness in which she does it. It's to the point where my entire homepage is cluttered with it, post after post. It gets really tedious.
